![]() Sprint - Always a questionable card in Rogue. If you cut this card you def change the goal/win-condition of the deck. ![]() The truly dream combo is Prep+Myra's+Elekk+Academic Espionage in a late game turn to draw your deck and then refill it. Paired with Elekk you can genuinely take Warrior/Odd Mage to fatigue and challenge them. This card basically sits in your hand until you Myra's to shove a bunch of cheap cards in your deck. I think in my climb I played it before Myra's once (and lost). In control matchups this card is the difference in winning & losing because of the value it will give you.Īcademic Espionage - This card gives you post-Myra's gas. Dropping it on curve also forces removal in many circumstances as people fear the turn-4 Fal'dorei. And against aggro matchups, Elekk is a solid 3-drop you can play on curve. Elekk + Fal'dorei Strider works against all matchups. Elekk + Espionage can give you serious legs against Warrior/Odd Mage. The traditional Leeroy or VanCleef usages still work, although it was rarely something I saved Shadowstep for.Īugmented Elekk - An incredible value card in slower matchups. Shadowstep in this deck is predominantly aimed to giving you more value with Fal'dorei Strider or Vilespine Slayer. Shadowstep - A polarizing card in some respects, when it works you wish you had two of them, when it sits in your hand dead you think about cutting it. Let's start by talking about the non-legendary 1-ofs: Shadowstep, Augmented Elekk, Academic Espionage, Sprint. To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone Compared to the Tempo Rogue decks on we've ditched the Pirate package entirely. The deck ditches the classic Auctioneer package for Myra's Unstable Element & Sprint. The deck is a tempo-oriented deck with heavy draw mechanics, hence the "Miracle". Last couple of seasons I've been playing more Hunter & Priest than my beloved Rogue, so I was happy to pick this up. Matchups: differences in popular ones, strategiesĭeck I picked this deck up watching a combination of Rdu & Thjis play versions of "Miracle"-themed decks. ![]() I play RPGs & poker too!ĭeck: card choices/rationale/replacements I've read r/competitiveHS for the majority of that time, and I wanted to give back with a deck guide. Except for some time off in mid 2016, I've played about every month to Rank 5+. I also lost on like turn 5 to a bunch of odd pallies and hunters.About Me I'm abgtr, a HS player since public beta in 2015. He faceless manipulated my strider and brewmastered it and we ended up in a tight race between jaraxxus HP minions and a voidlord->gul'dan taunt wall and I finished him off 1 turn before his HP+fatigue would have finished me off. My tess got turned into a dread infernal or something, and it looked pretty dire until I drew jaraxxus and played him a couple turns later at 1 health. Game three, against "fuck your deck" warlock, the game went until literally every card had been played. I finally closed out the game with a 3-mana myra's unstable element (off of glyph) that drew eviscerate, frostbolt, cinderstorm right as he entered fatigue. ![]() I had a black cat -> black cat (shadow refelection) -> blast wave play that generated dragon's fury, flamestrike, primordial glyph, and another blast wave, which provided the fuel to keep going and keep clearing water eles. Jaina was pretty late in his deck, but I still had to play around his hero power for about 8 turns to close it out. One espionage mirror (although our decks were significantly different), that I won off of the value of a 4xFace Collector turn. I had three fucking amazing games as espionage yesterday. ![]()
